Moderator Duties

Moderators are expected to do the following:

1 – Verify what session you are moderating. On the app there is a section for moderator duties and a link to the moderating schedule.

2 – Be in the room 5 – 10 minutes early.  Make contact with the presenter.

3 – Briefly introduce the session & presenter to the assembled attendees, if the presenter would like an introduction.  Ask the presenter if you should use the Bio included in the App. 

4 – Act as a runner to communicate any presentation set-up needs or problems to any board member.

5 – Inform the presenter when 5 minutes are left in the session.

6 – Start applause and thank the presenter.
