The Cartographic Technician position will serve as the CAD Manager for the 75th Civil Engineer Group, Engineering Division.
The Cartographic Technician provides technical expertise to the 75th Civil Engineer Group and Team Hill partners related to CADD and GIS software and data. The position creates and updates working drawings and conceptual drawings for remodel, renovation, and new facility projects. They maintain drawing standards for use in-house such as title block templates and symbology. The Cartographic Technician manages and improves the 75th Civil Engineer Group record drawing system, improves construction drawing related processes and products, and conducts quality control evaluations of drawing deliverables.

Land Surveyor, NH-III
This is a Federal Job. NH-III is equivalent to a GS-12/13. The job is located at Hill Air Force Base.
This position serves as senior project leader for in-house survey and mapping projects for the 75th Civil Engineer Group, Engineering Division. This position provides expert survey and technical support to the GIS team, architects, engineers, and survey/construction firms providing contract services. Survey field work includes the Hill Air Force Base installation, Utah Test and Training Ranges, as well as geographically separated units associated with Hill Air Force Base. The land surveyor will survey for, create, retrace, interpret, review, and file legal descriptions and plats for existing easements, leases, outgrants, and other property boundaries. The work’s results must be legally acceptable as official property records by the state of Utah.
