LiDAR/Photogrammetric Technologist / Technical Writer
Aero-Graphics is currently seeking a talented and highly-motivated individual to join our team in our Salt Lake City, Utah office. The open position is for a part-time technical writer to prepare LiDAR accuracy reports and project status update reports.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepare LiDAR project reports that provide details on point density (planned and actual), accuracy (planned and actual), flight parameters, and other project related details. Prepare weekly project status updates that provide details on flight and production progress.
Create cartographically-appropriate thematic maps using GIS data.
Read and interpret documents such as scope of work, technical requirements and correspondence related to projects.
Project coordination with team leaders and project managers.
Strong technical writing capabilities with skills in clarity and persuasion. Currently working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree (GIS or a geography-related field preferred).
Proficiency using Microsoft Office and ArcMap/ArcGIS.
